Peter Abdu, one of this year’s GUVTU grant recipients, will be speaking about his work photographing and conserving our native brook trout. Peter spent 18 days and over 100 hours in 50F water capturing 20,000 images of spawning native brook trout. At spawning sites teeming with 100 fish, some exceeding 30 inches, Peter documented incredible behaviors and rare moments. This presentation will showcase those experiences and visuals, offering a truly unique glimpse into the lives of these remarkable fish.
